However, we do explore some professional software options that will enhance your business. Whether you choose to use the software is up to you. I don’t have prior training experience… do I need it to become certified?
You don’t, but it’s recommended that you gain at least one year of in-person training experience before training clients online. While there are examples of brand new trainers who have built incredibly successful businesses solely online, we believe it’s best to learn the ropes in-person. Offline experience helps you anticipate more accurately what it will be like training clients remotely.
Is The Online Trainer Academy accredited by a national education board?
No, the Academy is not accredited. It is strongly recommended to view the OTC designation as a supplement to an accredited personal training certification in your region.
